INCLUDED IN THIS LISTING: This listing includes a 7 page PDF two 8x10 JPEGs of the apple image a page of letters to customize it for your favorite teacher! Instructions, an outlined template, a practice paper sewing sheet are also included.

TIPS FOR SEWING: For best results, print on glossy brochure paper using your printer's best quality print setting. Before sewing, follow instructions on the Sewing Practice Sheet to get the hang of sewing on paper. Use the smallest sewing needle you have to minimize the size of holes in the paper (75/11 recommended). Change the thread color to match the image as you go if desired; bobbin thread can remain the same. More detailed instructions on PDF; machine sewing on paper not recommended for beginning sewers (due to intricate shapes and turns).

HAND SEW or EMBROIDER (easiest): Follow the basic sewing instructions provided, however don't thread your machine. Let the needle make the holes, then hand stitch. This is a great way to pre-prep the project for a group activity. Use embroidery floss or doubled thread to hand sew. Or, simply hand embroider by hand with a backstitch.

MAKE A TILE MOSAIC: Print on glossy sticker paper and trim pieces. Peel and set each piece on an 8x10 smooth porcelain tile; leaving a small space between each piece. A few pieces will need to be slightly trimmed to fit properly because of the space you are adding between pieces. Or... print on matte card stock and ModPoge each piece to the tile.

MAKE A MAGNETIC PUZZLE: Print on glossy sticker paper and adhere each piece to a flat magnet (we like flat magnetic vent covers best - found at home improvement stores). Or, print on glossy brochure paper, laminate and glue trimmed pieces to magnet sheets. Use the pattern underneath if necessary; store on a Dollar Store Cookie Sheet!

GROUP USE OK: For this kit, Group Use is approved/included. This means you may share the PRINTED file with a group for an organized craft activity. Please do not share the digital file; simply refer them to my shop if they'd like their own image to make more!
